Mom and her siblings

Earlier last month (I know, I am waaaaaaaay behind on my blogs) my mom and her siblings did their annual Christmas. When I was REALLY young, we used to do Christmas with them and all of my cousins on Christmas day...I was so young that I do not remember this. Eventually, we started to do an Eerkes (my Mom's maiden name) family Christmas the weekend before (or sometime in December) Christmas Day. However, with all of my cousin's families growing, for the last few years my Mom and her siblings have gotten together with just themselves and their spouses. This year, my Mom asked if I would come and take a few pictures of them and then leave so that they could do their "sibling stuff."

Here is my Aunt Audrey, Aunt Pat, and my Mom. The three girls of their family...of course, they were the first to arrive...girls are always more organized:). LOL. Ok, here are all five of them. Uncle Aaron, Aunt Pat, Uncle Monty, Aunt Audrey, and my Mom...the Eerkes kids.
One of them thought it would be funny if they acted like they were looking up to heaven and thinking of their mom and dad...and then all of them followed in the act!!! I know, a little weird, but I think that all siblings are a little weird when they all get together:)...
Here they are again....
I have not gotten to edit these pics yet, but I wanted to get a post up so that my Mom's siblings could get a sneak peak at the pictures...especially since it has been so long since I took them.
I think it is so cute that after all these years my Mom and her siblings still make an attempt to get together every year for the holidays. I hope that my siblings and I never stop seeing each other every year...even as our families keep growing.
Happy Holidays!!!
