My Bug

Seriously, how cute is she?!?! I had to take these pictures of her because this is the new thing that she likes to do... Instead of laying in her kennel, she likes to lay on top of it. Who knows why, but we obviously had to make it a little more comfy for her, so we added the pillow. I think she likes to lay up there because then she is eye level with us on the couch. She is so funny:).
If anyone is ever in need of some good doggie lovin' then stop by my house. Lady will lick you and love anyone who comes around. She loves people and is a very social dog...just such a sweet heart. I love her:).
Of course, I love my Big Guy (Baxter) just as much...but he is a very special kind of dog that only a mother can REALLY love. Lady is the kind that everyone can love.

Epiphanie

So I found this out about these cute camera bags made by a company called Epiphanie. The bags are so cute and VERY functional...much better than carrying around a big huge Canon bag! When I checked out their website, I noticed they had a blog as well. When I clicked on it I saw that they had a contest where you could enter a chance to win a Canon Mark 5D...which is totally the camera I have had my eye on for awhile now, however, it is WAY out of my price range. I figured I would enter and at least give it a shot. I know my chances are pretty low, but hey, might as well try. One way to get points toward the contest was to post a blog about it...so here you go:).

Check out their bags and information on the contest:).

George Straight...

...Reba, and LeAnn Womack!! This was such a great concert. Kora took me to thier concert last night and it was AMAZING. We had a wonderful time.

The picture below is when Reba was joined by LeAnn to sing "Does He Love You." This was probably my favorite part in the whole concert and the song has been stuck in my head all day. There is George...living country legend!!!!:)
Here are Kora and I down on the floor. We took a little walk to check out the view from down there.
Kora got these cute new boots for the concert. Doesn't she look like a hot little cowgirl?!
We had to get a pic with the car toys truck...Kora had to represent a little:).
It was such a fun time!!
Thank you Kora for taking me to this concert. I had a great time!!

Siblings...

"To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and
sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's
hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and
secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time."

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to Chaotic Livin'!!! Today marks the one year birthday of this little blog. My first blog was just to introduce myself to the blogging world, and then later that evening I posted this (http://marisafaatoafe.blogspot.com/2009/03/green-beer.html) fun blog on my St. Patty's Day experience. Hopefully, today will serve as another inspiration for a fun, cute blog...we'll see!!!

I started this blog to let people know what was going on with me and my little Faatoafe crew (yes, Baxter and Lady carry the last name as well). There have been some points through the year where I contemplated the cancellation of Chaotic Livin'...I just didn't feel like anyone was reading, or really cared about the things I was posting. However, as I look back on my posts from the last year, I realize, this blog is mainly for me. It is a way for me to remember what was going on. I had so much fun reading through my old posts...it was kind of like reading through an old diary. I also really liked watching my growth as a photographer. It was great to look at pictures from my first shoot to my most recent. I realize there are SO many more things I want to learn and accomplish with photography, but it was fun to see where I started and where I am now:).

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Saint Patrick's Day and will get to enjoy some Irish food...if not traditional Irish, then at least something green...preferably a beer!!!

Hauret Shoot

Last weekend I headed down to Pacific Beach to take pictures for my Aunt Beth's family. They were having a little family get away to celebrate Grandma Hauret's 70th birthday. She is the one middle front in the picture below. Doesn't she look great for 70!?!?!?! It was such a beautiful day at the beach, a little windy, but what do you expect at the beach:). Here is a picture of the whole group... There were so many great places to shoot!!
Here is the original Hauret clan...

I just thought my Aunt and Uncle were so cute in this picture...

Another cute shot of my Aunt and Uncle.
Of course my Uncle and I had to get at least one picture together...after all, I am his favorite niece:).

I really like the one below.
My Uncle wanted a few senior picture shots:).
And the final shot as the sun was going down. A very relaxed picture...I had to pull them away from their dinner to catch the sun set...
It was such a fun shoot! I am almost done with all of the editing and then I will call it a wrap on this great project:).
As I just looked back over this post, I realized that I put a lot of black and white pictures in this post...I must have been in a b&w mood when I chose the pictures to put on here!

Somebody stop me!!!

All I can think about lately is getting a puppy!! I don't know what is wrong with me. I already have two cuties, why do I need another one? We only live in 888 sq ft with two big dogs...there is definitely not enough room for any more. Plus all four of us (Me, Richie, Baxter, and Lady) sleep in one small queen sized bed. Where would another one sleep? God forbid we have a dog sleep in a doggie bed like most normal people:). Yet, I keep checking listings for American Bulldog puppies in the area and recently these three have come up and now I am consumed with the idea of getting another puppy. What is wrong with me?!?! However, look at these little sweeties...how could you not want to take them home and snuggle with them?

Here is the first one I found. He is so cute...kinda looks like a little pig:). This guy just stole my heart!! He kind of looks like my Lady Bug:).
However, this girl is by far my favorite. Look at the cute patch over her eye!!!

Can some sane person please remind me that I am CRAZY and that there is NO WAY I can get another dog?!?!?!?!?
