Seahawks 2009

Last Sunday Kora invited Richie and I to go to the Seahawks game with her and Nick. The seats were great!! However, the game was not so great:(. Right from the start the Seahawks sucked it up. No matter what the outcome of the game though, they are always so much fun to go to. The 12th man is always loud and crazy, which is my style for watching football. Hopefully we will win next week and start to turn this season around.

Here are Richie and I outsides of Qwest. This was still the beginning of the game. As you can see, I was super excited to be cheering my Hawks on..."Kaw Ka-Kaw!!!" (That is my version of what a real seahawk would sound like). Oh yeah, I forgot my sunglasses, luckily Nick an awesome pair for me to wear!!!

Still the beginning of the game when everyone is happy.

This is when things started to go downhill. Kora is pretending that she is cheering...but you can tell from the guys faces that things are not going so well, which was the case most of the game.

We still had fun though!!
On our way to the car. Even though we were sad loosers, we still found it in us to smile big for the camera and yes, I am still rockin' the awesome shades.

The foursome!

We had a great time...Thanks Kora!!!

AJ, Lamar, and Matt

AJ's younger brother Lamar came along to get pictures with his brother. Lamar is also one of my students and both boys are such fun in class. Also, the three boys (AJ, Lamar, and Matt) are great friends so it was a nice opprotunity to get pictures with all of them.

Matt's Senior Pics

Matt came along with AJ to also get his senior pictures done. He played football with Joe last year, so my family was able to get to know him a bit. He has a great laugh, which I was able to catch in some of the pictures. I had a blast with both of these shoots!!

AJ's Senior Pics

Last Friday I took AJ's senior pictures at Tumwater Falls Park. I have had AJ as a student since he was a sophomore...it was my first year teaching. Now he is a senior and getting ready to graduate. His brother and friend Matt were able to come along...I'll post some of those pictures in a bit.

Here is a sneak peak of some favorites...His pictures turned out so great that it was hard to choose which ones to put on here!!!

Finally feeling like fall...

I set out on a walk the other day and realized that even though it still feels warm out...well at least during the day, it is certainly starting to look like fall. I was so glad that I grabbed my camera on the way out the door so I could capture the early phase of Fall around my home. The drive up to my neighborhood is lined with trees and every year, I love watching them change...every day looks a little different.

Leaves are slowly, but surely making a appearance on the ground:)!!

I really do love Fall. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate this Indian Summer that we are having, but I'm always ready for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, wearing cute scarves, and hearing the leaves crunch under my feet. :)
Happy Fall to everyone!!

Kim's Baby Shower

The count down in on!!! Abby is getting so close to being here and I can't wait. Last weekend I went up to Kimberly and Zach's house in Woodinville for Kimberly's baby shower. It was such a nice day and great to see some of Kim's peeps that I hadn't seen in awhile. Once we left, I realized that we really only have a couple months until Abby is here!!! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy seems like it has gone. Here are a few pictures from the shower.
Here is Kimberly and Malia (Kora's Best Friend from high school). Malia is about five weeks ahead of Kimberly. I thought they both looked so cute:)...we had to get a "bumpin' bellies" pic!!
Amy made this cake. She did such a great job...she really is talented. For those of you who have not seen it, the cake matches Abby's bedding. Too cute!
Grammy talking to Abby...
I thought this picture was so cute. The guys (and me most of the time) were downstairs watching the Husky game. Griffin is just kickin' it with the guys. His expression is so funny in this picture.
My mom, Kora, Michelle and I all stayed up there Saturday night to help make sure everything got cleaned up. Of course we had to stay up late chatting. Here we are all saying goodnight to Abby...

I am so excited for this little baby to get her. I can't wait to see what she looks like. It really is an amazing thing to see your own sister, someone that you love so much, becoming a mother. I know Kimberly and Zach are going to be great parents...Abby is a lucky girl!!

Nick's Senior Pics

Nick is a senior at Capitol High School this year. I was able to take his senior pictures last week. It was a great time!! We started at the Capitol and then ended at his grandparents house, out on Cooper Point, which was AMAZING!! It was the most beautiful home I have ever been in!! Here are a few pictures for you to look at. Hope you like them:)...
Nick's little sisiter joined us so that they could get a couple shots together. She was running around most of the time and I was trying to dodge her in the back ground...then I finally decided to embrace it:) I think this is one of my favorite shots because it tells the story of the shoot so well!!!!
